Welcome to West Chester Elementary School

West Chester Elementary is one of three elementary schools in the Chester County School System of Tennessee. Located on Highway 100 just west of the city of Henderson, West Chester is home to 285 students in grades K-3. The family-like atmosphere creates a friendly and safe environment where students can excel in both academics and good citizenship. It is our goal to help each student be the best that he/she can be- every kid, every lesson, every day.

We are excited to have parents coming to school to eat lunch with their children. We have set aside one day during the month of their birthday to have parents. Be looking for a letter coming home in the month that your child's birthday is to sign up to come eat with your child. You may bring outside food for your child only.  The date for October birthdays is the 24th & 21st for November birthdays.

Our Fall Festival is October 29th from 6 - 8 pm. Wristbands can be purchased ahead of time by sending money to school. All attending mush have a wristband to enter. Themed baskets will be auctioned off that night so if you can help us, please send in the items that your grade level is taking up. Info is going home 22nd or 23rd. Also, parents are asked to make cake or dessert donations for the Cake Walk at the Fall Festival.

Students may decorate a pumpkin for the contest and they are due 10/25/24. Information went home about this contest in your child's folder the week before Fall Break. THANKSGIVING break is November 25 - 29th.
