Welcome to West Chester Elementary School

West Chester Elementary is one of three elementary schools in the Chester County School System of Tennessee. Located on Highway 100 just west of the city of Henderson, West Chester is home to 285 students in grades K-3. The family-like atmosphere creates a friendly and safe environment where students can excel in both academics and good citizenship. It is our goal to help each student be the best that he/she can be- every kid, every lesson, every day.

We are excited to have parents coming to school to eat lunch with their children. We have set aside one day during the month of their birthday to have parents. Be looking for a letter coming home in the month that your child's birthday is to sign up to come eat with your child. You may bring outside food for your child only. February 27rd is the date for February birthdays.

There is no school 2/14 & 2/17/25 to celebrate President's Day. Parent teacher conferences are 2/13/25. Please sign up for a time with your child's teacher.

Read Across America Week is March 3 - 7. Dress up like your favorite sports team Monday, wear your workout/athletic clothes on Tuesday, Spring Pictures are Wednesday March 5, pajamas on Thursday, and dress as your favorite book character on Friday.
