Amy Wooley, Principal

It is my honor and privilege to introduce myself to you as the principal of West Chester Elementary. I grew up in Dyer County and graduated from Dyer County High School. I then attended Union University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. I began teaching at Jacks Creek in 1993. I taught third grade the majority of those years. In 2009, I received my Master's Degree in Supervision and Administration from the University of Tennessee at Martin. I accepted the position as principal in August 2010 at Jacks Creek Elementary. I transferred to West Chester Elementary the fall of 2013.

I have been married to Mark Wooley for 21 years. I have two children, Katelyn and Gregory, who are the joys of my life. I am excited to have yet another 180 school days to impact the lives of children. My philosophy is that everything we do, or fail to do, teaches somebody something. Often times, I am the one who learns something.

We will strive for excellence during the 2017-2018 school year and look forward to building a strong foundation for your students.
